Most Powerful Cars In The World

Posted on by Bailey Marcia

Lamborghini Urus -- 641bhp, 190mph

2017: the year that Lamborghini got back into SUVs. But so as to reveal the speed of advancement, the new Urus has four fewer electrons compared to the older LM002, yet it grows almost twice the power, thanks to some 641bhp variant of the VW Group's bi-turbo 4.0-litre V8. Since we'll see later on in this list, the Urus is therefore the fastest of this super-SUVs, but not the most effective, by a very long way...

Bentley Continental Supersports -- 700bhp, 209mph

Bet you'd forgotten about this one. Yes, before Bentley wowed us with the sleeker, more raffish new Continental GT, it created a Supersports version of the incoming car. And the headline was quite simply this: seven hundred horsepower. And yes, that's appropriate Victorian British imperial reel. It's perhaps not the most populous automobile on this list by a perimeter, but that really is the reigning speed champ among Bentleys, and incongruously magnificent as a result.

Ferrari 812 Superfast -- 789bhp, 211mph

We are living in a mad, crazy world. Among many pieces of evidence that this is true is that the fact that Ferrari's series-production big-booted GT car is powered by a 789bhp V12 which 'll send it beyond 62mph in 2.9 seconds and to a top speed of 211mph. If that is one of the last of those traditional V12 supercars, until hybrids and turbos eventually kill off them, then what a thing to do.

Hennessey Venom F5 -- 1600bhp (claimed), 290mph (claimed)

Hennessey's back , and he's going for 300mph. The Venom F5, successor to the car that hit 270mph and established Hennessey for a player in the top speed supercar game, is called after F5 category storms, which have a windspeed score of around 318mph. Can the Texan underdog take it into the might of the VW Group, and Koenigsegg? 2017's reveal of the new Venom was the opening shot of around two. Put your bets...

Hennessey Exorcist -- 1,000bhp, n/a miles

Of course, Texan horsepower fetishist John Hennessey couldn't let Dodge like the spoils of war for long without devoting his own unleaded-swilling riposte -- with a cheeky title to boot. The Exorcist is, as you can see, according to a Camaro ZL1 (or the more track focused 1LE, should you prefer), and, ahem, trumps the Dodge option by developing 1,000bhp. The best speed is so much unknown, but since the 0-60mph time is sub 3sec, we believe you'll agree it deserves a place among 2017's very unhinged performance cars.
